Setting the IP address in

Windows Vista/7

 Click on the START button on the task bar and then

Control Panel.

 Click on Network and Sharing Centre. Click on

Change adapter settings.

 Click on LAN connection with the right mouse

button and then select Properties.

 The LAN properties window appears. Select

Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and

then click on Properties.

 Select the entry “Use following IP address” and

then enter the IP address as described below:

• IP address: 192.168.2.x (where x can be any number

between 2 and 200. If more than one computer is

using this access point, each computer must use its

own number)

• Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

 To finish, click on OK.
